Viking Shield Maidens were the counterparts to the male Viking sailors and raiders. Not afraid to fight against men, they knew death was likely, yet were unafraid. They looked forward to eternal glory in Valhalla in the presence of Odin, Thor, the other Norse Gods and the fierce female Valkyrie army of Asgard.
